PokerStars US Summer Stacks At the end of May, PokerStars revealed the results of its last US-based online poker tournament series. It was the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) for the state-by-state American market. PASCOOP in Pennsylvania offered 41 events, which translated into 123 tournaments and more than $2.6M in prize money awarded. Michigan’s first-ever MISCOOP put up 40 events – or 120 individual tournaments – that paid out more than $2.3M to its players. And NJSCOOP for the New Jersey poker community had 55 events, which was 163 tournaments that paid more than $1.36M in prize money. In total, the PokerStars put 406 names on its list of SCOOP champions. And players in three states won $6.35M, well beyond the $5.2M in guarantees. Now, PokerStars is ready to kick off its latest new three-state series. The Summer Stacks Festival will run simultaneously across Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, though the player pools are not yet connected. But in total, the series will guarantee $2.5M in prize pools with all buy-ins set at $100 or less for the individual tournaments. Each series is already running satellites. And players who deposit at least $30 with the bonus code SUMMER21 will receive tickets to the Depositor Freeroll for their state. Those three freerolls will award $10K worth of Main Event tickets. Also, every player who competes in a Summer Stacks tournament throughout their series but fails to survive past the money bubble will receive a Second Chance Freeroll ticket. Those freerolls will aware more than $10K worth of Summer Stacks tournament tickets. The action will kick off on Saturday, June 12, and run through the end of June. https://twitter.com/PokerStarsBlog/status/1401921895323389957?s=20

Michigan Summer Stacks

Poker players in Michigan will find 100 tournaments on the schedule for their Summer Stacks series, cumulating in $1M worth of prize pool guarantees. Buy-ins range from $5 to $100. The lineup consists of mostly No Limit Hold’em events, but there are quite a few other options sprinkled throughout the series: Limit Razz, Limit Stud, Stud H/L, Pot Limit Omaha, Omaha H/L, 8-Game, 5-Card Omaha, and HORSE. And formats will vary greatly as well, from reentries to freezeouts, progressive knockouts to shootouts, and from slow to turbo structures. On June 27, three versions of the Summer Stacks Main Event will give players these options:
-Event 90: $100 buy-in NLHE Main Event (up to 5 reentries, $100K GTD, 2-day event) -Event 91: $30 buy-in NLHE Mid Main Event (up to 5 reentries, $25K GTD) -Event 92: $10 buy-in NLHE Low Main Event (up to 5 reentries, $7.5K GTD)

Pennsylvania Summer Stacks

This series is almost identical to that of the Michigan version, as the two markets are more similar than not. Pennsylvania players will also be able to choose from $5 - $100 buy-ins and find a total of $1M in tournament guarantees. In addition, the lineup of game variations and structures is just as diverse, with the Main Events even mirroring those in Michigan. On Sunday, June 27, PA players will find:
-Event 90: $100 buy-in NLHE Main Event (up to 5 reentries, $100K GTD, 2-day event) -Event 91: $30 buy-in NLHE Mid Main Event (up to 5 reentries, $25K GTD) -Event 92: $10 buy-in NLHE Low Main Event (up to 5 reentries, $7.5K GTD)

New Jersey Summer Stacks

Since the New Jersey market is smaller, this version of the Summer Stacks will guarantee $500K across the 100 events. The players in NJ have shown over the years that they prefer mostly NLHE, so the only other variations available will be a PLO H/L on June 12, PLO events on June 19 and 27, and a HORSE tournament on June 26. Buy-ins will range from $5 to $100. The Main Events will offer smaller guarantees than the other two states, but there is still solid value in these June 27 highlights:
-Event 90: $100 buy-in NLHE Main Event (up to 5 reentries, $50K GTD, 2-day event) -Event 91: $30 buy-in NLHE Mid Main Event (up to 5 reentries, $8.5K GTD) -Event 92: $10 buy-in NLHE Low Main Event (up to 5 reentries, $3K GTD)
As for all states, the last day of new tournaments will be on Monday, June 28, with the top buy-in Main Event also playing out its second and final day in each state on June 28. https://twitter.com/PokerStarsUSA/status/1401901012064088070?s=20
