Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have released surveillance images of two suspects wanted in the July 12, 2026 robbery of professional poker player Jared Griener. According to GamblingNews and Casino.org, two men were waiting inside Griener’s Las Vegas rental home when he returned. He had just collected his summer WSOP payouts before returning to the rental. The pair pinned him down, threatened to kill him if he moved, restrained him with duct tape, and took a backpack holding $57,500. Police have not made any arrests as of publication and have urged anyone who recognizes the suspects to come forward.

What Happened At The Las Vegas Rental

The robbery took place at Griener’s Las Vegas rental home on July 12, 2026, shortly after he returned with his winnings. Casino.org and GamblingNews report that two men were already inside when he arrived.

The suspects tackled and pinned Griener, warned him they would kill him if he moved, and bound him with duct tape. Griener said the men placed dishes on his back so they would hear him if he tried to move. The men demanded a backpack containing his WSOP winnings and fled with the bag.

After the robbers left, Griener freed himself and went to a neighbor for help. Casino.org and KSNV News 3 report that Ring camera footage shows him barefoot with duct tape still on his arm.

The Suspect Images Police Just Released

LVMPD released the surveillance images more than two months after the July 12 robbery, according to Casino.org. GamblingNews reports that a neighbor’s camera captured the two suspects arriving shortly before Griener returned home.

Per a CBS affiliate cited by GamblingNews and Casino.org, the suspects arrived in a dark gray SUV parked around the corner. They walked toward the property and returned to the vehicle roughly 20 minutes later. Police describe both suspects as Black men. One is heavyset with braids and distinctive tattoos on his left forearm, wearing a black shirt, black shorts, and white shoes. The second was wearing a gray hoodie, red shorts, and black shoes.

How the Suspects Entered Remains Unclear

Griener has said he believes the robbers knew the rental’s door code, but exactly how they entered remains unclear. The property owner told reporters there were no obvious signs of forced entry and that surveillance cameras did not capture the suspects entering the home.

The owner also said roughly 10 people came and went during the six-week rental despite only three registered guests, and he had given some visitors the door code. Police have not publicly established how the suspects gained access.
