Ignition Super Millions Poker Open Main Events This Weekend
Ignition Poker has been on fire for nearly a month with its Super Million Poker Open. Players have won millions of dollars thus far across more than 100 tournaments.
The online poker tournament series is not over, however. It runs through Sunday, August 18, and the final weekend hosts the Main Events of the series. Those four tournaments alone guarantee $349K in prize money, but if history is any indication, the prize pools will easily exceed $350K.
2024 Super Millions
The action for the 2024 Super Millions Poker Open (SMPO) began on July 18, just as the World Series of Poker wrapped up in Las Vegas. Players were hyped up by the summer poker excitement and ready to dive into some online poker tournaments.
The full Super Million series set up 150 tournaments with more than $8M in total guaranteed prize pools. Buy-ins began at just $7, and everyone had a chance to participate, even high rollers in the $1K buy-in options. And of course, qualifiers began at just $1 to award seats into events at bargain prices.
Main Event Time
The final weekend will wrap the entire series with dozens of tournaments on the schedule. But the most anticipated will be the four iterations of the Super Millions Main Event. They are all set for Sunday, August 18 as follows:
- Event 133 at 9:24am ET: $82 buy-in NLHE SMPO Early Bird Main Event ($10K GTD)
- Event 134 at 2:24pm ET: $109 buy-in NLHE SMPO Mini Main Event ($75K GTD)
- Event 135 at 3:24pm ET: $450 buy-in NLHE SMPO Main Event ($240K GTD)
- Event 136 at 5:24pm ET: $27.50 buy-in NLHE SMPO Micro Main Event ($24K GTD)
Keep in mind that there are qualifiers and satellites running for every one of these events, opening up entries to players of all bankrolls and levels.
Ignition Poker Freerolls
All online poker players love a freeroll, and Ignition Poker has them.
Every Thursday at 9:05pm ET, there is a freeroll poker tournament online for players who have achieved Chrome level in the VIP program. The freeroll offers $2,500 in prize money every week. Simply get to Chrome status by Friday and receive a ticket to the following week’s freeroll.
