Ignition Runs Golden Spade Poker Open to Nov 16

Golden Spade Poker Open Bovada Ignition GSPO

The signature online poker tournament series at Ignition Poker is the Golden Spade Poker Open. Through the years, the series has grown to the point of now being able to celebrate its tenth iteration. And to celebrate ten years of GSPO tournaments, Ignition put 150 events on this schedule and slapped a $10M guarantee over the entire thing.

If you haven’t jumped in yet, there is plenty of time to celebrate the GSPO10 with tournaments of all buy-ins, something to suit every bankroll. It continues on through November 16.

10th Annual GSPO

This tenth Golden Spade Poker Open, affectionately known as GSPO10, started on October 10. Action has been solid, though most of the tournaments have been just making their individual guarantees. While this is good for Ignition Poker to hit guarantees, the times they miss are best for players because there is an overlay. That’s free money in the prize pool, put in by Ignition to keep its promise of a guarantee.

Ignition Poker doesn’t break promises. If it puts a guarantee on a tournament, Ignition will not pull it but rather make up the prize pool difference as players would expect.

For this 10th Annual GSPO, there are also qualifiers running every day throughout the days.

Instead of buying in directly, you can win your seat for a fraction of the cost by playing one of the many poker qualifiers series running at Ignition! 💯

Players can also use rewards points (Ignition Miles) to buy in to some of the events.

GSPO10 Highlights

The entire series started on October 10 and will run through November 16.

Buy-ins range from $7 to $1,000 for the vast majority of the events, with many events remaining in the $25-$100 range.

At the end of the series, the Main Events will offer the best value and the biggest guarantees:

-Event 133 (November 13):  $82 buy-in NLHE Early Bird Main Event ($12K GTD)

-Event 134 (November 13):  $109 buy-in NLHE Mini Main Event ($110K GTD)

-Event 135 (November 13):  $450 buy-in NLHE Main Event ($350K GTD)

-Event 136 (November 13):  $27.50 buy-in NLHE Micro Main Event ($25K GTD)

On that final Sunday, there will also be a GSPO10 Special with a $162 buy-in and $210K guarantee.
