WSOP Winter Online Circuit Series on GGPoker Just a few days ago, the WSOP launched its Online Super Circuit Series, an 18-event tournament series available to players located in Nevada and New Jersey. To give players outside of the United States an opportunity to earn their WSOP gold rings, the World Series of Poker again partnered with GGPoker to offer the WSOP Winter Online Circuit Series. It will begin in mid-December and run through the first week and a half of January with 18 official events. However, the entire series will be massive and guarantee $100 million in prize pools. At the same time, the international portion of the 2020 WSOP Main Event just got underway on November 29 with the first of three starting flights. The other two will play out this weekend, which will set a final table by the end of the day on December 7. That is all happening on GGPoker as well. As for the WSOP Winter Online Circuit, GGPoker didn’t issue a press release and the World Series of Poker didn’t post anything on its official website. But it is happening and kicking off on December 13.

Basics of Winter Online Circuit

GGPoker posted the basic information on a new page of its website. Between that and other bits of information scattered about social media, we know some of the details. WSOP Winter Online Circuit Series on GGPoker The WSOP Winter Circuit Online Series will take place on GGPoker and Natural8 from December 13 through January 10. The crux of the series will be the 18 official WSOP Circuit events that will award gold WSOP rings to the winners. Those tournaments will cumulatively guarantee more than $30 million in prize pools. (It looks to be $30,746,000, to be more precise.) The larger series, however, will guarantee $100 million. https://twitter.com/natural8/status/1332319958668247041?s=20 Players will also compete for spots on the series leaderboard. The top 100 finishers after the conclusion of the series (both ring events and side events) will share in $100K worth of prizes. That leaderboard begins with the series on December 13.
