EPT Barcelona 2026 Underway as €100K Super High Roller and Main Event Approach
The 2026 PokerStars European Poker Tour Barcelona is officially underway, with the festival kicking off Sunday, August 16, at Casino Barcelona. The 14-day series runs through August 29 and features more than 60 trophy events across a wide range of buy-ins.
Barcelona remains one of the biggest stops on the EPT calendar, attracting players from Europe, the United States, and around the world. Early events are already underway, but much of the attention will shift to the €100,000 EPT Super High Roller and €5,300 EPT Main Event later this week.
Early Action Underway in Barcelona
The opening days of EPT Barcelona are centered largely around the €1,650 PokerStars Open Main Event, which runs from August 16 through August 22.
The tournament features multiple starting flights before the surviving players combine later in the week. Online qualifiers are also among the field, with players able to win seats through PokerStars qualifiers and Power Path passes. High-stakes players have started arriving in Barcelona as well, with several bigger buy-in events scheduled before the EPT Main Event begins.

What to Watch at EPT Barcelona 2026
