ACR Introduces Two Multi-Flight Sunday Tourneys

Written by Jennifer Newell
Last updated on January 12th, 2023
Americas Cardroom ACR Americas Cardroom, along with its sister sites on the Winning Poker Network, continues to adjust its schedule of regular tournaments. The new year is bringing new Sunday tournaments, two multi-flight events that will offer dozens of flights throughout the week and then play out on Sunday. Two buy-in levels and significant guarantees will bring players of all bankrolls into play. Players can also compete in freerolls that could turn into a free trip to the Festival Series in Nottingham next month. It’s all about freerolls and the points you accumulate playing them.

New Multi-Flights

Sunday poker players have a lot of tournament options on Americas Cardroom, but the two new additions to the lineup give them an even wider range of choices. Starting this month, two new tournaments hit the Sunday schedule:
-Started January 8:  $2.50 buy-in $10K GTD (80 weekly flights, Day 2 Sunday) -Starting January 15:  $66 buy-in $150K GTD (numerous weekly flights, Day 2 Sunday)

The entire list consists of dozens of tournaments that start in the wee hours of the morning and run through the late night. The $109 buy-in Sunday Warm Up ($300K GTD) and $215 buy-in Sunday Special ($250K GTD) are big draws, as is the $215 buy-in PKO ($200K GTD) and the $630 buy-in Sunday High Roller ($500K GTD).

Fancy a Trip to Nottingham?

There is a massive live poker festival coming up in Nottingham, England. The aptly-named Festival Series will run February 12-19 at Dusk Till Dawn, and it will culminate in the February 15-19 £450 buy-in Main Event with its £200K guarantee. And ACR players can win a full prize package worth £2,070…for free. The freerolls started on January 8 but run every Sunday throughout January. The next three Sundays will each feature a freeroll. The top 19 finishers in each one will win points corresponding to their finishes. The player with the most points out of the four freeroll days will win the prize package, which consists of:
-£450 buy-in for Main Event -£230 buy-in for a side event -£129 buy-in for a casino event -£360 worth of packages for social events -£910 worth of 7 nights hotel stay at Crowne Plaza Nottingham, including breakfast
Those who come close in points but don’t win the prize package will receive consolation prizes. Second place in points will receive a $215 tournament ticket, third place a $109 ticket, fourth a $55 ticket, and fifth place a $22 tournament ticket. It should be noted that ACR will not buy back the prize package if you cannot use it, but you can sell it to another ACR player. https://twitter.com/ACR_POKER/status/1611500949792514062?s=20&t=b-4PaZ0gOm_GbXtScJajVA
