Memorial Day to be Mad Monday on Ignition Poker

Ignition Poker Ignition Poker has decided that there are certain days of the week that can be better than others. Many people dread Sunday as the end of their weekend and Monday as the first day back to work for those with traditional jobs. But in online poker, Sundays are for online poker, and Mondays are for Day 2 action or possibly recovering from Sunday poker. The folks at Ignition have put a new spin on both days, with Triple Header Sunday poker followed by an occasional Mad Monday. Both are coming up for players in the US who will be taking advantage of a three-day holiday weekend.

Mad Monday on Memorial Day

Let’s get at this one first. Ignition offers at least one Mad Monday each month, but May produced two of them, the second of which is on the schedule for Memorial Day – Monday, May 29. That’s because it is offering more than $400K in guaranteed prize pools on its Mad Monday schedule. There are 16 primary events on the schedule with a couple of bonus ones added in as well. The schedule for Monday, May 29, lists times in ET and is as follows:

There are satellites to all of the tournaments on the schedule, so players can participate for a fraction of the cost of the set buy-ins.

Triple Header Sunday

Ignition added a big Sunday attraction in April. One month later, its popularity keeps growing, so it is becoming a staple on the weekly online poker calendar. The goal was to give players several must-play tournaments every Sunday, each with a solid guarantee. They came up with three tournaments and called it Triple Header Sunday. The cumulative guarantee is $235K, and there is a low, medium, and high buy-in available.
Warm-Up NLHE:  $11 buy-in ($10K GTD) starting at 12:33pm Kickoff NLHE:  $109 buy-in ($75K GTD) starting at 1:33pm Main Event:  $1,055 buy-in ($150K GTD) starting at 2:33pm
Satellites for all three tournaments begin at just $1.10 with guaranteed seats.
