Ignition Poker Runs Second Crypto Poker Open

One of the most popular ways to conduct online poker transactions is with cryptocurrency. This has been the case for more than a decade, but crypto has become even more popular in recent years. In fact, it is now one of the most frequently used payment methods when depositing and withdrawing from online poker sites.

-$450 buy-in CryptoPO2 Main Event at 3:02pm ($225K or 9 BTC GTD)
-$38.50 buy-in CryptoPO2 Micro Main Event at 4:02pm ($30K or 1.2 BTC GTD)

As usual, there are qualifiers and satellites running every day to offer discounted entry into the Crypto Poker Open events.

CPO2 Details

The main point of the tournament is to encourage more players to conduct transactions with cryptocurrencies and to show the value of Bitcoin in online poker. But can you play in the events if you don’t have a Bitcoin wallet?

Yes.

Winnings will be paid in US dollars to player accounts. There will be references to BTC payouts and the Bitcoin amounts of cashes and winnings, but those can easily be converted to USD at the exchange rate of one BTC equaling $25K. Players can withdraw their winnings in crypto or USD.

Crypto Deposit Freeroll

Apart from the Crypto Poker Open series, Ignition Poker regularly rewards players for depositing with cryptocurrency.

The biggest perk of depositing with crypto is a weekly freeroll. Players who deposit at least $20 worth of crypto during a week – Friday through Thursday – will receive a ticket to the weekly $2,500 Crypto Depositor’s Freeroll. That tournament offers up $2,500 worth of real money.

There is no limit to the number of times a player can qualify and play the freerolls. A person can deposit $20 or more each week and play that Sunday’s freeroll every weekend.
