Brandon Wilson is the Super High Roller Bowl XI champion. The American won the $100,000 buy-in event at PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas on Saturday, October 10, and collected $1,125,000 for first place. He beat Nick Petrangelo heads-up by calling down a three-street bluff. Wilson’s route to the title ran through both Foxens. He cracked Kristen Foxen’s overpair near the bubble, then doubled through Alex Foxen on Day 3. Only 28 players entered, and just five got paid. The same venue hosts the Poker Masters starting this week, a series where Wilson won last year’s finale.
The 28-entry field generated a $2,800,000 prize pool, with only five players guaranteed a payout. That left six players fighting to survive the money bubble on Day 2.
Wilson narrowly avoided elimination after moving all-in with a flush draw and an overcard against Kristen Foxen’s overpair. He caught his overcard on the river to double up, leaving Kristen short-stacked.
Alex Foxen suffered a brutal beat of his own when Petrangelo four-bet shoved pocket sixes into his pocket tens. With another six already folded preflop, Petrangelo needed the deck’s lone remaining six to pull ahead. It arrived on the turn of an A♠9♠9♦6♦7♠ board, giving him sixes full and completing the one-outer.
PokerGO commentator Ali Nejad captured the moment:
“A brutal one for Alex, and for that matter Kristen, who certainly post-flop thought she was going to sneak in the money.”
Kristen, a six-time WSOP bracelet winner, ultimately exited on the bubble when her ace-eight lost to Wilson’s pocket nines. Despite the setback, Alex finished Day 2 as chip leader.
Alex entered the final day chasing his 14th PokerGO Tour title, but Wilson disrupted his run when ace-king out-flopped Foxen’s pocket tens. Foxen eventually finished third for $450,000, setting up a heads-up showdown between Wilson and Petrangelo.
Wilson began heads-up with a slight chip lead. In the decisive hand, Petrangelo fired a three-street bluff with an underpair, while Wilson called with second pair on the flop, picked up a straight draw on the turn and completed his straight on the river.
Here are the official results for the five paid finishers:
Wilson’s final table was full of recent winners. Petrangelo had just won the Triton Jeju $150,000 10th Anniversary Special for $2.2 million. He also has history in this city, having won the final two Stairway to Millions events in Las Vegas in 2022.
As of October 10, Mateos led the GPI 2026 Money List with $15 million in cashes. Here, he settled for fifth.
The event followed the $100,000 Super High Roller Bowl Pot-Limit Omaha. Local pro Sean Rafael won that one, beating Joao Simao for $1,150,000.
The Poker Masters starts at PokerGO Studio this week and runs through October 23. It ends with a $51,000 No-Limit Hold’em finale, giving the high-stakes regulars another shot at a big score in Las Vegas. Wilson knows this series well. He won last year’s Poker Masters $25,000 finale for $464,000.
The Super High Roller Bowl XI was a live event at PokerGO Studio, so every hand happened at a table in Nevada. If you want to play poker online in the same state, your options are narrower. Nevada has regulated online poker since 2013, and WSOP Online remains the state’s only active real-money online poker platform. Our Nevada online poker guide explains what that means before you deposit. Watch the Poker Masters through October 23, and check what’s legal where you play.
