BetOnline Brings Back MICRO Series for November

Written by Jennifer Newell
Last updated on November 18th, 2020
BetOnline SportsBetting MICRO Tournament Series This is most definitely the month of micro-stakes poker players online. BetOnline.ag and SportsBetting.ag are ready for it with their joint venture called the MICRO Tournament Series. The pair of online poker websites share a network, which means they remain separate sites but offer liquidity for players, putting them together at the tables. It gives the players more options and bigger tournament guarantees. The MICRO Tournament Series is one of BetOnline’s most popular series. Most of its players don’t fall into the high-stakes category, and that is perfect for its player base. Players at BetOnline and SportsBetting are primarily recreational players, and series like the MICRO are right up their virtual alley. Action gets underway this week, with a 62-event schedule and more than $150K in guarantees spanning 12 days.

MICRO Tournament Series Highlights

Recognizing this is not the height of the online poker season, BetOnline chose a slightly thinner schedule than its last iteration. The June MICRO Tournament Series ran with 67 tournaments and $200K in guarantees. The series starting this week runs November 18-29. Buy-ins start as low as $0.50 and do not exceed $11. There is some variety in the action, from Omaha to Hold’em and structures featuring progressive knockouts and rebuys. With more than $150K in prize pool guarantees, the MICRO promises some action in every tournament.

MICRO Tournament Series Schedule

One thing to note about the schedule as posted is that the MICRO Main Event is set for Sunday, November 29 and boasts of a $20K guarantee on the prize pool. Leading up to that, there will be numerous satellites and qualifiers online. Specifically, though, all of the events on November 26 will be qualifiers and then a freebuy to end the evening. The series below offers tournaments on the hour during the prime times of each day, listed in Eastern Time. Weekdays offer five events daily from 3:00pm to 7:00pm on the hour, Saturdays start at 1:00pm and finish with a 5:00pm event, and Sundays offer six events starting at 1:00pm and kicking off the last one at 6:00pm. (Check out the last day of the series for the biggest guarantees.) Without further ado, behold the MICRO Tournament Series schedule:
