ACR to Host OSS in February with $25M GTD

Written by Jennifer Newell
Last updated on February 4th, 2023
WPN ACR Online Super Series OSS Americas Cardroom, flagship online poker site on the Winning Poker Network, is gearing up to run its hit tournament series this month. The Online Super Series – OSS for short – always provides an array of tournaments at various buy-ins to bring in all levels of players. Often, OSS will break up its series into the MOSS (Mini Online Super Series), BOSS (Bigger Online Super Series), and the main OSS in the middle. This time, though, there is no division of this kind. The entire series is running together in February with $25M in tournament guarantees.

OSS Basics

The first Online Super Series of 2023 starts on February 6 and runs through February 28. In all, there are 233 tournaments on the schedule. And their cumulative guarantee is $25M. In and of itself, the schedule is a big overwhelming. With three weeks and hundreds of tournaments, where does one begin to find a starting point? As mentioned, this OSS isn’t divided into a MOSS, BOSS, and main OSS. Instead, there are letter indicators after many of the tournaments to indicate their level of buy-in.
L = low buy-in M = medium buy-in H = high buy-in
Not very complicated. Buy-ins start at just $3.30 and increase to $2,650 for the higher-stakes players. And in this iteration of OSS, there are more of the smaller buy-ins than in any previous OSS.

Schedule Highlights

We won’t list the entire schedule here because…well…it’s 233 events long. But we will list some of the highlights of the series. There are several tournaments with huge guarantees, some of them with multiple starting flights.
-February 6-26 (OSS 211L):  $22 buy-in NLHE, multiple flights, Day 2 on Feb 26 ($150K GTD) -February 6-27 (OSS 211M):  $215 buy-in NLHE, multiple flights, Day 2 on Feb 27 ($1M GTD) -February 6-27 (OSS 211H):  $630 buy-in NLHE, multiple flights, Day 2 on Feb 27 ($2M GTD) -February 12 (OSS 68):  $640 buy-in NLHE Main Event ($750K GTD) -February 18-20 (OSS 124):  $630 buy-in NLHE Main Event, 2 flights, Day 2 on Feb 20 ($1M GTD) -February 19-20 (OSS 138H):  $1,050 buy-in NLHE PKO Main Event, Day 2 on Feb 20 ($400K GTD) -February 19 (OSS 139H):  $1,050 buy-in PLO-8 6-Max PKO Main Event ($100K GTD) -February 23-27 (OSS 176):  $2,650 buy-in NLHE Main Event, 2 flights, Day 2 on Feb 27 ($1M GTD) -February 25-27 (OSS 197):  $109 buy-in NLHE Main Event, 2 flights, Day 2 on Feb 27 ($500K GTD) -February 26 (OSS 213H):  $1,050 buy-in 5-Card PLO 6-Max PKO Main Event ($100K GTD) -February 27 (OSS 218):  $1,050 buy-in NLHE Main Event ($500K GTD)
