WSOP Online Bracelet Series Begins for US Players

Written by Jennifer Newell
Last updated on September 14th, 2022
WSOP Online GGPoker 2022 It is that time of year when poker players in America can win World Series of Poker gold bracelets from home…if that home is in one of four states. The fragmented system of online poker in the United States relegates regulation to the states. And while six of them have legalized online poker, only four of them have operators running sites…and Nevada has only one site…and only the WSOP poker site can connect across state lines…and only between New Jersey and Nevada. It's a hot mess. However, poker players in the four states – Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan – with WSOP online poker know that it is better than nothing. There are even numerous players who temporarily relocate to or travel to those states to play for bracelets. With that said, the vast majority of the bracelet opportunities cater to players physically located in Nevada or New Jersey.

Two Schedules for Four States

Let’s be clear. There is one 33-event schedule for players in Nevada and New Jersey, who play at the same WSOP online poker tables. Then there is a six-event schedule – the same schedule for both Michigan and Pennsylvania but not connected. Each state runs its own, but both of them run off of the same schedule. Action runs through mid-October and is already underway as mid-September approaches. First, here is the smaller schedule for MI players and PA players:
Pennsylvania / Michigan
Event  Dates Buy-in Tournament Description
1 11-Sep $500 NLHE Monster Stack
2 18-Sep $365 NLHE
3 25-Sep $400 NLHE Ultra Deepstack PKO
4 2-Oct $777 NLHE Lucky 7s
5 9-Oct $1,500 NLHE
6 16-Oct $1,000 NLHE Championship
Second, this is the bigger schedule, with 33 tournaments only for those located – no residency requirement needed – in Nevada or New Jersey.
Nevada & New Jersey
Event  Dates Buy-in Tournament Description
1 10-Sep $400 NLHE Series Kick-Off
2 11-Sep $500 NLHE Monster Stack
3 11-Sep $3,200 NLHE High Roller
4 13-Sep $1,000 PLO 6-Max
5 15-Sep $500 NLHE Turbo Deepstack

Mo Bracelets, Mo Bracelets

For those players outside of the United States, there are 33 events playing out on GGPoker in jurisdictions where it is not forbidden. That WSOP Online series, however, started in mid-August and will wrap on September 26. There are still chances to win a WSOP gold bracelet, however, in these events:
Event  Dates Buy-in Tournament Description
20 8-Sep $888 NLHE Bounty 8-Handed Crazy 8s
21 10-Sep $500 NLHE Ladies Championship

24 13-Sep $2,100 NLHE Bounty Championship
25 15-Sep $315 NLHE Superstack Turbo Bounty
