Leaders in the city of Miami Beach voted unanimously to ban brick-and-mortar casinos. The decision comes after the Florida State Legislature considered a bill which would approve another South Florida casino license. The Texas State Legislature this week rejected a bill which would have legalized daily fantasy sports. The bill was sponsored by State Rep. The Connecticut House of Representatives approved a plan for a casino in East Windsor, but leaders among House Democrats said they expect a legal challenge to the bill.
