Million Dollar Weekend Kicks Off on Ignition April 17
Poker players in America who don’t live in Nevada, New Jersey, Delaware, or Pennsylvania have no state-regulated sites on which to play. Thus, during the coronavirus shutdown of casinos and card rooms across America, they’ve logged on to their favorite sites. Ignition is one of them.
Ignition Poker has been serving American players since its inception. With American players under stay-at-home orders, the poker executives got together to announce a massive and long weekend of poker.
The Million Dollar Weekend is on the books, and the schedule is ready to go. The four days of online poker tournaments include 20 events and begin tomorrow, April 17. And over the course of those four days, there will be more than $1 million in tournament guarantees.
Million Dollar Weekend Details
The inaugural Million Dollar Weekend begins on Friday, April 17, and it runs through Monday, April 20. There will be more than $1 million in prize pool guarantees spanning the 20 tournaments.
Event buy-ins range from $27.50 to $500 to cover players of all bankroll levels.
There will be two Main Event tournaments, both on Sunday, April 19. The Mini-Main will have a $75K guarantee and Main Event will offer a $150K guarantee.
Also, the weekly $150K GTD tournament on April 19 will be replace with a Million Dollar Weekend Special Event with a $175K guarantee instead.

Jackpot Sit & Go Million
The jackpot SNGs on Ignition Poker are small sit and gos with multipliers. And through April 21, the multiplier can go as high as 10,000x, which would mean a $1 million payout.
The most common prize for these special SNGs is $200 (a prize pool multipler of 2), but quite a few players also hit the 4x for $400.
Should a player hit the 1,200x multiplier, the winner will receive $100K, and the other two players top finishers will each win $10K. The player who wins the 10,000x multiplier will win $833,333.34 for first place, and second and third place will each win $83,333.33.
