King’s Casino Announces 2021 WSOP Europe Schedule

Written by Jennifer Newell
Last updated on July 13th, 2021
WSOP Europe 2021 Typically, the World Series of Poker announces official World Series of Poker tournaments. This time, however, King’s Casino announced its own set of events, the ones set for the WSOP Europe later this year. Half a day later, the WSOP website still had no listing of the WSOP Europe schedule, though it produced its own press release a day later. Assuming that King’s Casino has cleared everything with WSOP executives, we’ll take the information as it comes. The WSOP Europe will run from November 14 to December 8 with 15 gold bracelet-awarding tournaments and more than €11M in prize money guaranteed. King’s Casino owner Leon Tsoukernik also revealed a 2021 WSOP Circuit stop at his casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. This is set for August 12 to September 14.

WSOP Europe Dates Set

When the World Series of Poker announced the lineup of 2021 WSOP bracelet events, it was a multi-faceted beast. The first round was a WSOP Online series for US players in Nevada and New Jersey, with the second online series set for later in the summer for international players on GGPoker. The Las Vegas series was set for September 30 through November 23. And the WSOP Europe would return from November 19 to December 8. Executives said only that the 15 bracelet events would take place at King’s Casino in Rozvadov, as in previous years. The starting date seems to have changed, as the King’s Casino press release on July 12 set the dates for November 14 to December 8. Tsoukernik was anxious to reveal the schedule. “After the difficult year 2020,” he wrote, “we are excited to give the players what they deserve and have been waiting for, the biggest tournament series in Europe with the biggest guarantees. We are looking forward to giving top service and hospitality for all poker players as per King’s Resort standards.”

WSOPE Schedule

All of the events offer prize pool guarantees, totaling €11.55M for the series. Without further ado…
-Event 1 (Nov 19-22):  €350 buy-in NLHE Opener (€300K GTD) -Event 2 (Nov 20-23):  €550 buy-in PLO 8-Max (€200K GTD) -Event 3 (Nov 21-25):  €1,350 buy-in NLHE Mini Main Event ($€600K GTD) -Event 4 (Nov 24-25):  €2K buy-in PLO (€200K GTD) -Event 5 (Nov 24-30):  €550 buy-in NLHE Colossus (€1M GTD) -Event 6 (Nov 25):  €1K buy-in NLHE Classic Freezeout (€150K GTD) -Event 7 (Nov 25-26):  €1,650 buy-in PLO-NLHE Mix (€200K GTD) -Event 8 (Nov 26-27):  €2,500 buy-in Short Deck (€200K GTD) -Event 9 (Nov 27-28):  €5K buy-in PLO (€150K GTD) -Event 10 (Nov 29):  €1,100 buy-in NLHE Bounty Hunter (€200K GTD) -Event 11 (Nov 29-30):  €25K buy-in NLHE Platinum High Roller (€1M GTD) -Event 12 (Nov 30):  €1,650 buy-in NLHE 6-Max (€200K GTD) -Event 13 (Dec 1-2):  €2K buy-in 8-Game Mix (€150K GTD) -Event 14 (Dec 2-3):  €50K buy-in NLHE Diamond High Roller (€2M GTD) -Event 15 (Dec 3-8):  €10,350 buy-in NLHE Main Event (€5M GTD)

WSOP International Circuit Returns

Since the pandemic began, the international WSOP Circuit has been online. But the GGPoker experience doesn’t compare to the live one, so King’s Casino anxiously announced the return of that Circuit in mid-August. The WSOP has made no announcements whatsoever regarding the return of live Circuit events in the US or beyond. Nevertheless, King’s believes that the 2021 WSOP Circuit will be in Rozvadov from August 12 to September 14. Across 17 official tournaments with gold rings for the winner, the series’ prize pools will also guarantee more than €3.5M.
-Event 1 (Aug 12-16):  €200 NLHE King’s Opener (€300K GTD) -Event 2 (Aug 17-18):  €440 NLHE 6-Max (€50K GTD) -Event 3 (Aug 18-23):  €330 NLHE Kenta Bounty Hunter (€400K GTD) -Event 4 (Aug 24):  €250 NLHE Seniors 50+ (€20K GTD) -Event 5 (Aug 25):  €250 NLHE Ladies (€10K GTD) -Event 6 (Aug 25-30):  €250 NLHE Mini Main Event (€500K GTD) -Event 7 (Aug 29-30):  €660 NLHE Fifty Stack (€100K GTD) -Event 8 (Aug 30):  €550 PLO Bounty Hunter (€50K GTD) -Event 9 (Aug 31-Sep 1):  €550 Mixed PLO-NLHE (€50K GTD) -Event 10 (Sep 1-2):  €440 PLO Hi-Lo (€50K GTD) -Event 11 (Sep 2-6):  €550 NLHE Monster Stack (€500K GTD) -Event 12 (Sep 5):  €440 Limit Seven-Card Stud (€10K GTD) -Event 13 (Sep 6-7):  €440 PLO 6-Max (€50K GTD) -Event 14 (Sep 7):  €1,100 Five-Card PLO (€50K GTD) -Event 15 (Sep 7-8):  €2K PLO 8-Max (€200K GTD) -Event 16 (Sep 8-9):  €3K NLHE 8-Max (€300K GTD) -Event 17 (Sep 10-14):  €1,700 NLHE Main Event (€1M GTD)
The King’s Casino press release about the events includes chip stacks but no structure sheets or starting times. Those details will likely appear as the series approach. https://twitter.com/Kevmath/status/1414615750699110402?s=20
