Americas Cardroom Sets OSS Cub3d to Start February 9

Americas Cardroom ACR

Just after New Year’s celebrations died down, Americas Cardroom made its first announcement of 2020. It was a revelation that the next OSS Cub3d series was to be scheduled for February 9 to March 8, but there was more. The 220 events with $13 million in guarantees would include four tournaments that will each guarantee $1 million each.

That caught the attention of players.

Let’s look at the details of the upcoming series.

MOSS: February 9-16

The first part of the Online Super Series (OSS) will be the Mini Online Super Series (MOSS). It will kick off the series with low-stakes tournament buy-ins and significant guarantees.

The schedule of 65 tournaments will run February 9-16 with a total of $1 million in guarantees. The highlights will be:

–Event 62: $6.60 buy-in NLHE with 45 starting flights February 9-16 ($50K GTD)

–Event 59: $55 buy-in NLHE Main Event on February 16 ($250K GTD)

OSS: February 17-March 1

The second of three legs of the series is the main one, the Online Super Series (OSS). It will offer a wide range of buy-ins. This offers 110 tournaments with a total of $7 million in guarantees.

This segment runs from February 17 – the day after MOSS finishes – through March 1. Some of the highlights will be:

–Event 106: $215 buy-in NLHE with 18 starting flights February 17-March 1 ($1M GTD)

–Event 94: $630 buy-in NLHE Main Event on February 29 ($1M GTD)

–Event 105: $630 buy-in NLHE Main Event on March 1 ($1M GTD)

With all of these events taking place – or wrapping up, in the case of Event 106 – on the same weekend, Americas Cardroom has dubbed it the Leap Year Millions. Three events, each with $1 million guarantees on their prize pools, on one weekend is a way to mark the Leap Year. “You won’t see this again for another four years,” reads the promotion page.

BOSS: March 2-8

The final part of the series, BOSS, is for the high rollers, the high-stakes online poker players with massive bankrolls. Others can join in via satellites, but the majority of players will be in their element in this series.

The series of 45 tournaments will offer $5 million in guarantees from March 2-8. And the highlights will be:

–Event 37: $2,650 buy-in NLHE Main Event ($1M GTD)

Leap Year Millions Details
