The 9 Best Places to Play WSOP Cash Games in 2025

WSOP cash money

Not everyone who comes to the World Series of Poker (WSOP) comes to win bracelets, with WSOP cash games bigger than ever before. In this article, we’ll look at which venues offer the biggest pots, best value and most enjoyable atmosphere. While the WSOP venues of the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris casino offer cash games, other locations on the Strip are just as good if not better.

WSOP Cash Games

Playing poker cash games at the WSOP in Las Vegas is the pursuit of thousands of players. With big value around the seven-week 100-tournament series, much of the expected value is at the felt in cash games. So where can you play legal cash games in Las Vegas during the WSOP? Here are a few of the best locations:

  • The Bellagio
  • ARIA
  • The Wynn
  • Horseshoe Las Vegas/Paris
  • The Venetian
  • Red Rock Casino
  • The Orleans
  • Resorts World
  • MGM Grand

The Bellagio - 3600 S Las Vegas Blvd

The Bellagio is known as one of the most reliable spots for professionals to play at, as well as welcoming plenty of recreational players too. With an alluring brand, The Bellagio has more regulars during the WSOP but there are still plenty of tourists to provide good value.

ARIA - 3730 S Las Vegas Blvd

For many years, the ARIA has been the home of the PokerGO Studio and also has a thriving cash poker room attached to one of the nicest properties on the Las Vegas Strip. While the games are tough, and the players are often grinders, the rewards are obvious.

The Wynn - 3131 Las Vegas Boulevard South

The standard cash action at The Wynn Las Vegas is great, but perhaps one of the best hidden secrets you’ll find here is that the Encore - which is attached to The Wynn - has some of the best cash game action in Vegas during the WSOP. From No Limit Hold’em to Pot Limit Omaha, the action is incredible seven weeks straight.

Horseshoe Las Vegas/Paris - 3645 Las Vegas Blvd S

During the WSOP, the Horseshoe’s cash game action is great, with pretty much any stakes you can think of, from $1/$2 right up to the nosebleed stakes. With huge footfall during the WSOP, this is the best place to take on tournament regulars.

The Venetian - 3355 S Las Vegas Blvd

Across the road from Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris is the Venetian. With a wealth of big tournaments throughout WSOP, the cash game tables fill up fast here too.

Red Rock Casino - 11011 W Charleston Blvd

Red Rock is a locals card room, with fewer professionals prepared to travel this far from the WSOP tournament rooms. There are less high stakes games but some big names will come into the smaller games at Red Rock, the hidden gem of Las Vegas during the summer.

The Orleans - 4500 W Tropicana Ave

Many smaller-level players take on the action at The Orleans, with $2/$5 hugely popular and even $2/$3 filling up on a nightly basis. Off the strip, it’s not generally frequented by WSOP players but always seems to have a game going so that may be counter intuitive.

Resorts World - 3000 S Las Vegas Blvd

The home of the CardPlayer Lifestyle Mixed Games Series, this excellent cardroom not far off the main action at Horseshoe and Paris casinos hosts many mixed games cash games. From low stakes up to medium, there’s seemingly a different game in action every night of the week.

MGM Grand - 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd

Central Hub: Horseshoe and Paris

The Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris casino action is obviously closer than anywhere to the WSOP poker action, with the cardroom mere feet away from the bracelet tournaments that define the World Series of Poker. Here. You’ll find virtually any reasonable stakes, with the high stakes action reserved for locations like Bobby’s Room maybe off limits to WSOP players who remain at the Horseshoe to play cash.

Why WSOP Cash Games Are Worth Playing

Reasons to consider playing cash games during the WSOP:

  • Lucrative Opportunity: Though outside the official bracelet events, cash games can be extremely profitable
  • Player Pool: Influx of recreational players from late May to mid-July
  • Strategic Advantage: Great option if you're better at cash games than tournaments and can help build bankroll for WSOP buy-ins without direct entry costs
  • Key Success Factor: Knowing your opponents and adjusting your poker strategy per location is critical

Final Thoughts: Where to Play WSOP Cash Games

When it comes to playing cash games throughout the WSOP, it’s worth remembering six key points.

  • Do you know the player type at your chosen venue?
  • Are you comfortable playing at these stakes?
  • Will you be playing tournaments as well as cash games?
  • What’s your schedule look like?
  • When are the best times to play in each venue?

A lot of this information would be trite to state in definition now as you’ll likely learn best by playing and these parameters change on a yearly basis. In 2025, there are a wealth of different cardrooms to play in, such as the ones mentioned above and plenty of different game variants on show too. While it can be beneficial to play at the official WSOP venues of Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris casino, other venues off-Strip can be gold mines for the skilled player, even if you’re only at mid-stakes.

If you’re traveling to Las Vegas this summer to play the WSOP, bear in mind that while tournaments can provide glory, cash is always king in the gambling capital of the world.
