Americans celebrate many holidays but none like Independence Day, better known as the Fourth of July. The festivities often include barbecues, fireworks, get-togethers, and concerts. And as American as any of those activities, poker is often in the mix.

This year, Everygame Poker makes it easy to find great poker value online. They created Patriot Poker Week, seven days of poker tournaments with guarantees, bonus merchandise, and tournament ticket giveaways.

Patriot Poker Week of Action

The schedule is convenient for those with fun activities planned for the week off the computer but action-packed enough to provide great poker opportunities and value. The schedule runs July 1-7 and will play out as follows:

  • July 1 (Monday) 7:05pm ET:  Patriots Poker Party NLHE ($1K GTD)
    • All-In Special
    • All players put into raffle on July 2. Lucky 15 will win tickets to July 4 tournament.
  • July 2 (Tuesday) 7:15pm ET:  Patriots Poker Party NLHE
  • July 2 (Tuesday) 7:30pm ET:  Firecracker Knockout NLHE ($2,500 GTD)
    • Winner receives ticket to Stars & Stripes July 7 tournament.
    • Second to fifth-place finishers receive tickets to July 4 tournament.
  • July 3 (Wednesday) 7:05pm ET:  All American R&A ($1K GTD)
    • Top 5 players win tickets to July 4 tournament.
  • July 4 (Thursday) 5:pm ET:  Independence Day NLHE ($2K GTD)
    • Top 3 players win tickets to Stars & Stripes July 7 tournament.
    • Fourth to tenth-place finishers receive Fast Fortune tickets.
  • July 5 (Friday) 7pm ET:  Star Spangled Knockout NLHE ($1K GTD)
    • All players receive $20 cash bonus in $5 increments as FPPs earned.
    • Bonus period begins July 8.
  • July 6 (Saturday) 8:05pm ET:  Red White & Blue R&A ($2,500 GTD)
    • Winner receives $10 Fast Fortune ticket.
    • Second and third-place finishers receive $5 Fast Fortune tickets.
    • Fourth to tenth-place finishers get $1 Fast Fortune tickets.
  • July 7 (Sunday) 4:15pm ET:  Liberty Myriad NLHE ($10K GTD)
    • All players receive $50 cash bonus in $5 increments as FPPs earned.
    • Bonus period begins July 8.
  • July 7 (Sunday) 7:00pm ET:  Stars & Stripes NLHE ($5K GTD)
    • Winner gets hoodie.
    • Second and third-place finishers win t-shirts.
    • Fourth and fifth-place finishers win bucket hats or caps.
    • Sixth to tenth-place finishers receive card packs.

What are FPPs?

Players who receive free cash bonuses in the above tournaments should know that they must play through their bonuses. While the money is free, they must play poker on the site to earn that money in cashback bonus increments.

Frequent player points are automatically tallied based on players’ action. For every $1 in tournament fees paid, they receive seven FPPs, and for every $1 paid in Fast Fortune fees, they also receive seven FPPs. For cash game rake, every $1 paid equals one FPP for every player who is dealt into the hand.

Double FPP days help players earn those points at double the speed. FPP days are currently listed as:

  • July 4-6
  • July 9-11
  • July 15-17

What are Fast Fortune Tournaments?

During Poker Patriots Week, players can also earn Fast Fortune tickets. Those are three-handed SNGs that play out at an accelerated structure format. Players buy in for a certain amount, and the prize pool is then randomly calculated to equal 2x each tournament buy-in or all the way up to 1000x that buy-in.

The buy-ins for Fast Fortune games start at just $0.25 and go up to $1, $5, and $10.
