Create Your March Madness Bracket on BetOnline

Written by Jennifer Newell
Last updated on March 14th, 2023
BetOnline It’s that time of year. March Madness is ready to begin, and it’s time to create your best basketball bracket. Selections are now open on BetOnline and SportsBetting.ag, and there’s a limited time to make your picks. The $250K Bracket Madness promotion is underway and ends on Thursday, March 16. Action then starts on the courts that afternoon and runs through the first days of April. Don’t be the only one without a March Madness bracket this year! And best not to miss out on the $250K worth of cash up for grabs at BetOnline and SportsBetting.ag.

Big March Madness Business

Aside from the Super Bowl in football, the biggest sports time of the year for Americans is March Madness. The NCAA Men’s Division I basketball series is watched across America – and around the world – to see the best and brightest of today’s college basketball stars. They also watch to track their bracket picks. According to the American Gaming Association, this 2023 March Madness will be the most wagered in history with $15.5B on the line. One-fourth of all American adults – that’s about 68M people – plan to wager on the games this year. Of those numbers, 31M of them will wager online at a retail sportsbook location, or with a private bookie. Another 21.5M will bet amongst friends, without the involvement of a sportsbook or other third party. Ultimately 56.3M will participate in some kind of bracket contest. That’s a lot of brackets. https://twitter.com/AmericanGaming/status/1635053871029719040?s=20

$250K Promotion

Leave it to BetOnline and SportsBetting.ag to put on a bracket competition with a lot of money on the line. And players can get involved for just $25. Even better, each player can enter up to 20 times, creating a new bracket for each one. And after the first $25 bracket, the price decreases. The second bracket is only $20, the third $15, fourth through tenth $10 each, and 11th through 20th only $5 per entry. Players will find the contest on the sportsbook platform of BetOnline or SportsBetting.ag – both sites linked to create bigger prize pools. Pay the fee and start maneuvering the 63 games on a bracket until it looks like the best choice to win. The competition will award points for every correct pick, as follows:
-Round 1:  1 point for each correct section -Round 2:  2 points -Round 3 (Sweet 16):  4 points -Round 4 (Elite 8):  8 points -Round 5 (Final Four):  16 points -Round 6 (Championship):  32 points
Players earn points for spots on the leaderboard as the series plays on. The contest awards points for having chosen the right pics all the way to the finals. And in the end, the top five prizes will be:
-1st place:  $75K -2nd place:  $30K -3rd place:  $15K -4th place:  $7,500 -5th place:  $5K
The top 1,000 finishers in the challenge will win at least $50. https://twitter.com/betonline_ag/status/1635001569111584770?s=20

Poker: March Cash Madness

Poker players, there are other ways to take advantage of March Madness. First, at the No Limit Hold’em cash game tables – stakes $0.05/$0.10 to $1/$2 – there will be random cash drops every day at 8pm ET throughout the month of March. Second, those cash game tables will help players earn double points in the daily leaderboard challenges. This happens during the Boosted Hour play from 9pm to 10pm ET through March 19. The cash game leaderboards offer more than $100K in cash prizes throughout the month of March. Depending on the stakes, players will earn points toward the low, medium, or high stakes leaderboards. Points earned during cash game play will accumulate to make the top points earners eligible for these cash prizes.
-Low Cash Game Leaderboard:  $300/day -Medium Cash Game Leaderboard:  $1,000/day -High Cash Game Leaderboard:  $700/day
The top 100 ranked players each day will win a seat into an Instant All-In Nightly Shootout, and players will win prizes at random in those shootouts.
