February Freerollers Finale Sees Fatai Finish Above All Others for $75

LUSPS Freerollers Open

This week’s Freerollers Open final on Legal U.S. Poker Sites saw ‘Fatai’ end the monthly event as the winner, taking home $75, the biggest prize of $250 in free money. A total of 20 players made the money places, with Fatai beating Stephen to the title after an exciting final table saw some dramatic hands play out.

As well as a dramatic $250 monthly February finale, weekly events on LUSPS were also full force over the past four weeks, with players from all over the United States cashing every seven days too. The LUSPS Freerollers weekly events saw 40 weekly winners and 20 monthly winners make free money during February, with drama all the way from the money bubble to the final table.

February Finale Provides Thrills

Whenever a player reaches the money places in a freeroll, it’s great value that they took part. In February, the 20th place finisher was ‘sirmop’, who mopped up $2.50 in free money as the first player into profit. Others such as ‘Shalli12’, ‘laplace’ and ‘BNP’ all followed, with Chiesa also cashing for the same amount, the min-cash in the event.

Other players took home even more, with ‘Gracious’, ‘ABOKI’ and TkCk’ among those to win $4, with ‘AGBAFI’ winning $5 in 10th place. ‘lyanuwura’ cashed for $10 in 8th place, while ‘Citti_boo’ (7th) and ‘Advantage’ (6th) both scored the same result. The player ‘jetlee’ won $12,50 in fifth place.

Out in fourth place was the player ‘farha’, who was all-in with the ace-deuce of hearts. Called by ‘Fatai’ with pocket fours, the at-risk player couldn’t catch up despite hitting a deuce on the turn and after the river, Fatai’s pair held to send play three-handed and eliminate farha for a result of $15.

Fatai Fills Up

Down to three players, the tournament took a turn when ‘Hailno’ pushed all-in with pocket sevens. Called by Fatai with ace-jack, Hailno needed to dodge a rocket and a jack but couldn’t do so, as an ace on the flop put him behind and Fatai in front. No seven on the turn meant Hailno was drawing to just two outs but neither came on the river they went home with $25.

Heads-up, Fatai had a lead of 2:1 and Stephen needed to play catch-up. Unfortunately for him, play was about to go the other way as he moved all-in with king-deuce of spades. Fatai made the call with ace-five, and an ace on the flop and only one spade left Stephen drawing thin. No spade on the turn meant that Stephen was drawing dead to the river as Fatai captured the win and $75 top prize, with Stephen taking home $50 as runner-up. Fatai’s February Freerollers Open finale victory saw the biggest prize of the $250 free prize pool head to the dominant player at the final table.

February’s Weekly Winners

February featured four weekly tournaments, giving away another $70 of free money in each of them. In the first, ‘Hailno was able to take the title after narrowly missing out on the win in the monthly finale. Winning $20 after beating JackieJay heads-up, there were also cashes for ‘cuella’ (3rd for $10) and ‘Porker’, who won $5 in fourth place.

In the remaining weekly events, plenty of other players banked free money including three more weekly winners, ‘ZZZZZ’, ‘Sexyboy005’ and ‘Pkachok’, each of whom won $20 as they took advantage of the free money on offer.

After a dramatic showdown in February where $250 of free money was handed out on Legal U.S. Poker Sites in the monthly event alone, will you be taking part in the even bigger and better Freerollers Open finale at the end of March? There’s another $250 up for grabs in only three few weeks’ time... make sure you qualify today

Good luck at the LUSPS felt in the Freerollers Open and stay tuned for news of a St. Patrick’s Day special coming on the site very soon!
