BetOnline Championship Online Poker Series It is tournament season. In particular, it is online poker tournament season. There are tournaments online with WCOOP titles on the line and WSOP bracelets up for grabs, but most of those are only available to people who live or can travel outside of the United States. There are a few WSOP events in Pennsylvania, Nevada, Michigan, and New Jersey, but not everyone can travel to those states to play poker online. BetOnline and Sportsbetting.ag get together to present an alternative. There may not be any gold jewelry involved, but there are big prize pools and great poker competition. It is all a part of the signature series of the network, the Championship Online Poker Series, or COPS.

Biggest COPS Ever

BetOnline and Sportsbetting.ag have a poker tournament series for the masses. The Championship Online Poker Series is now bigger than ever. This iteration of the series will offer $2.3M in prize pool guarantees over the course of 15 days. The action will kick off on Sunday, September 18, and it will conclude on Sunday, October 2. In total, there will be 145 tournaments, averaging out to about 10 tournaments per day. Weekend days often offer a few more than weekdays. Buy-ins range from $11 to $320, with the vast majority of offerings below $100. One thing differentiating COPS from other series is that there are several tournaments designated as Main Events, including one at the beginning and another at the end. Those big events will be:
-Sunday, Sept 18 at 1pm ET:  $109 NLHE Main Event ($175K GTD) -Sunday, Sept 18 at 1pm ET:  $22 NLHE Mini Main Event ($30K GTD) -Sunday, Sept 25 at 1pm ET:  $109 NLHE Main Event ($200K GTD) -Sunday, Sept 25 at 1pm ET:  $22 NLHE Mini Main Event ($40K GTD) -Sunday, Oct 2 at 1pm ET:  $109 NLHE Main Event ($300K GTD) -Sunday, Oct 2 at 1pm ET:  $22 NLHE Mini Main Event ($50K GTD)
The rest of the series offers a wide variety of buy-ins, poker variants, and structures. There are high rollers and deep stacks, turbos and progressive knockouts (PKOs), rebuys and marathons, and a mix of No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha and PLO-8.

Discounts and Other Opportunities

Of course, there will be a plethora of satellites and qualifiers, all giving players the chance to wins seats to COPS events at a discount. Satellites start as low as just $1. Better yet, there will be freerolls every day. Players who compete in COPS can compete in an Instant All-In Shootouts the following day. For every COPS event played, they will receive more chips for their daily shootout on the next day. The freerolls will be all-in shootouts, played quickly and awarding multiple free seats. Players should also monitor their emails and messages on the site, as there will be missions and promotions running to provide extra ways to win.
