BetOnline to Kick Off 50-50 Autumn Poker Series Oct 30

Written by Jennifer Newell
Last updated on October 30th, 2023

As autumn sets in and the weather across most parts of the United States gets colder, it’s the perfect time to settle in for some poker tournaments.

BetOnline is in full tournament spirit. Just after the Championship Online Poker Series (COPS) wrapped its Autumn Edition and awarded more than $3M in prize money, there’s another series ready to go.

The Autumn Poker Series (APS) is set to kick off on October 30 as a 50/50 series. The seven-day series is all about 50 - $50 buy-ins, 50 tournaments, and a $50K leaderboard competition, players are in for great value and a lot of action to take them right into November.

All in all, there is $500K to be awarded. There’s no better way to keep warm this autumn than by rolling in that cash.

Autumn Poker Series: Oct 30 to Nov 5

BetOnline is calling it the $500,000 Autumn Poker Series…and the 50/50 Poker Tournament Series. Either way you say it, it’s a seven-day series starting on Monday, October 30. It runs through Sunday, November 5.

There is a $500K guarantee on the series. That leaderboard competition is just for this series, and there is $50K worth of cash to distribute to the winners when all of the events are completed.

Normally, poker series offer a Main Event that requires a higher buy-in than the other events. BetOnline set up this Autumn Poker Series differently, though. Players can buy in for just $11 for the $50K GTD Main Event.

50/50 Schedule

The schedule allows players to start the Main Event on the very first day of the series. There will be 15 starting flights through November 5, the last one being a turbo flight, and all survivors will play Day 2 of the Main Event on November 5.

The Main Event garners 50 points for the leaderboard for the first entry and an addition 10 points for each subsequent flight. It is the fastest way to earn points for the $50K leaderboard competition.

  • Oct 30 – Nov 5:  $11 buy-in NLHE Main Event (15 flights) ($50K GTD)

The rest of the series offers $55 buy-ins for everything – all No Limit Hold’em tournaments – though the guarantees on each event vary. There will be seven tournaments each day – excluding Main Event flights. (The last day – November 5 – only has six events, as the 12:30am is off the calendar, but there is an extra Main Event flight.)

For the first six days, this is the daily schedule:

  • 12:30am ET:  $55 NLHE PKO ($4K GTD)
  • 12:30pm ET:  $55 NLHE ($7,500 GTD)
  • 2pm ET:  $11 NLHE Main Event flight ($50K GTD)
  • 2:30pm ET:  $55 NLHE PKO ($10K GTD)
  • 7pm ET:  $11 NLHE Main Event flight ($50K GTD)
  • 7:30pm ET:  $55 NLHE ($30K GTD)
  • 8:45pm ET:  $55 NLHE 6-Max PKO ($3K GTD)
  • 10:30pm ET:  $55 NLHE PKO ($6K GTD)
  • 11:30pm ET:  $55 NLHE Hyper Turbo PKO ($3K GTD)

Sunday, Nov 5

  • 10am ET:  $11 NLHE Main Event flight ($50K GTD)
  • 12:30pm ET:  $55 NLHE ($7,500 GTD)
  • 1pm ET:  $11 NLHE Main Event flight ($50K GTD)
  • 2pm ET:  $55 NLHE ($25K GTD)
  • 5pm ET:  $11 NLHE Main Event turbo flight ($50K GTD)
  • 7:30pm ET:  $55 NLHE ($30K GTD)
  • 8:15pm ET:  $11 NLHE Main Event Day 2 ($50K GTD)
  • 8:45pm ET:  $55 NLHE 6-Max PKO ($3K GTD)
  • 10:30pm ET:  $55 NLHE PKO ($6K GTD)
  • 11:20pm ET:  $55 NLHE Hyper Turbo PKO ($3K GTD)

Note that players cannot buy in to the Main Event directly on Day 2. Players must qualify through a Day 1 flight. And if players compete in more than one flight and end those flights with chips, they will start Day 2 with all of their first flight chips combined.

Good luck, everyone!
