ACR Poker Runs Special PLO Series in December

Written by Jennifer Newell
Last updated on December 11th, 2023

Live poker is on fire this December. There are major poker series across Las Vegas, as well as in Europe and the Bahamas. Everyone doesn’t have the luxury of living near one of these locations, though, or being able to travel to one of them. That leaves those masses of poker players at home, just wanting to play some online poker through the winter months and holiday season.

ACR Poker decided on a unique offering for the beginning of December. And it’s all about the PLO action.

MO PLO

The series is actually called MO MO MO PLO! And it means more PLO in every way possible. The MO stands for more Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments, more cash games, more bonuses, and more happy hour promotions.

First, there is the tournament series. It started on December 3 but runs for two weeks, through December 17 to be exact. The 101 tournaments include No Limit and Pot Limit Omaha, 8-or-Better and 5-Card PLO, with structure variations including turbos and knockouts. There are guarantees set for every prize pool, totaling more than $1.1M. And the best part is that the event buy-ins range from $3 up to $630. That gives a wide variety of players the opportunity to participate. Even better, satellites are available for discounted seats.

There is no Main Event for the MO PLO series, but the final day (a Sunday, of course) will offer some big value. Keep in mind that two of the three events will play their last flight on December 17, meaning initial flights are already running and will continue through to that day. Their “Day 2” action will play later on that Sunday.

  • Event 1 at 1:30pm ET:  Day 2 of $55 buy-in Mystery KO PLO ($200K GTD)
  • Event 2 at 1:30pm ET:  Day 2 of $11 buy-in Mystery KO PLO ($50K GTD)

That last day will also feature Events 91-101, including four buy-in levels of a PLO tournament from $3.30 to $320, as well as a PLO8 6-Max for a $630 buy-in, three buy-in levels for PLO8 from $5.50 to $66, and three buy-in options for the PLO8 PKO Turbo 5-Card action with buy-ins from $2.50 to $55.

The full schedule with all of its details is on the ACR Poker website.

But wait, there’s more!

The MO PLO action also includes special Omaha cash games. When played during Happy Hour times of 6am-8am ET and 10pm-midnight ET, players can earn twice as many points and clear any bonus twice as quickly.

Check Out ACR Reshuffle

While playing on ACR Poker this December, it’s a good time to check out the new Reshuffle feature on the site. It is available on specified PLO games. Some may have noticed the ACR Reshuffle feature in PLO 5 games over the past few months, but this new expansion moves into PLO 4.

The Reshuffle deals cards to one player at a time. When the first player sees the flop and makes a decision, the next player receives her cards and does the same. Cards from any player who folds are inserted back into the deck, shuffled, and can be dealt. During this process, players cannot pre-select fold, call, or raise; they must make decisions only upon seeing the cards.

It should be noted that the game does not take longer, as the action is done quickly, and it will appear as if the cards are dealt as per usual in most respects.

Players can choose to check out these games by signing up to play at a cash game table with the special lock symbol next to the table name. This indicates that the Reshuffle feature is in use there.

Overall, ACR Poker claims that the new feature will work to achieve greater security for all players in the games and prevent unethical or outright illegal play. As the rollout continues, the Reshuffle feature will spread to more games per announcements from the Winning Poker Network.

The technicians implemented this feature to try to enhance game integrity and security. In efforts to consistently make it tougher for bots to play and for players to cheat, ACR Poker is implementing its latest solution in that arena. It is unique to ACR and done in partnership with ACR’s work with GTO Wizard.
