The folks at Americas Cardroom tried it once last year. Winning Poker Network CEO Phil Nagy wanted to play in the Triton Poker Series, an elite series of live high-stakes poker tournaments. Last year, the Triton Super High Roller Series in Cyprus presented 14 tournaments with buy-ins ranging form $25K to $200K. Part of the draw for Nagy was his invitation to play the Coin Rivet Invitational, the $200K buy-in that partnered poker pros with non-pros (mostly from the world of business and finance). He wanted a Team ACR pro to go with the crew, and Ebony Kenney was the one. He offered to back her in several events.
And it was Kenney who crushed the series. She cashed in the first event of the series, a $25K buy-in event, and her fifth-place finish was worth $240,500. She then played in the Coin Rivet Invitational. She outlasted the majority of the field and made it into the money. She ultimately final tabled that event, too, finishing fifth on the global stage for $1.7M.
Kenney made poker news around the world and had a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Since then, Nagy and ACR have taken a team-affiliated pro with them to other Triton tour stops. But they have also given Americas Cardroom players the chance to win a prize package to go with them. They’ve taken players to Vietnam and again to Cyprus, finding similar stories that emerge from low- and mid-stakes poker players taking their shots at massive high roller events…and finding success.
It’s only natural that they’re going to do it again.
Triton Poker Series London
As per usual, the Triton folks will take a break so all players can participate in the World Series of Poker and not have to decide between two series. That puts the next tournament in July. Triton Poker Series London will host a full schedule of high-stakes tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $15K to $100K.
The details have yet to be announced, but the team has been planning it out for a while. The last trip to London was when Triton hosted a series there in 2019, pre-Covid. That happened at London Hilton on Park Lane. The official location for 2023 will be announced in the coming weeks.

High Stakes Adventure London
Who needs trip details? Americas Cardroom is ready to give away some prize packages to take its players to Triton in London. The trip will be from July 27 to August 10.
The promotion is called High Stakes Adventure London, and ACR is guaranteeing five packages to be given away, each worth quite a tidy sum of money. Each package will include $110K just for buy-ins and entry fees to tournaments in London, plus extra for flights and ground transportation, as well as first-class accommodations.
Of the $110K in tournament money, players have the choice to buy in for 100% of their own action or sell up to 50% to Phil Nagy. That means players could have an extra $55K for tournaments or other poker action.
There are two main online satellites for these packages, each requiring a $2,650 buy-in.
-Sunday, May 28 at 2:05pm ET: 3 prize packages GTD-Sunday, July 16 at 2:05pm ET: 2 prize packages GTD
Don’t have $2,650? There are super satellites for each of those events, with those buy-ins set at $290. More satellites will be added in June and early July.
